NI performs technology and business process consulting to help with both the technology and business challenges.  Consulting engagements range from one or more consultants for 1 month to years and include integration challenges, converging networks, network architecture design and deployment, mobile and multi-location workforce, internet security, network security and large-scale roll-out projects involving remote and on-site technical assistance.

1: Needs Assessment
NI provides an integrated approach customized to your requirements. NI will prepare an assessment based on interviews with the client, ultimately producing a conceptual design.

2: Development & Design of the solution
NI will design a solution, which addresses the critical issues of functionality, scalability, compatibility, ease of use and reliability. As well, we explore and report on how the solution will migrate in time as new client requirements are introduced.

3: Vendor Selection and Contract Development
Through a series of meetings with additional potential vendors, NI supports the client through the selection process. The client's business, financial, technical and managerial objectives are essential considerations in awarding the contract to the most suitable vendor(s).

4: Implementation
Our implementation methodology provides project planning and management to ensure timely and effective installation of the custom solution. This will encompass non-service impacting test bed, first-office-application and full-scale rollout. Standardization and knowledge transfer will be provided by NI.

5: Operational and Contract Management
NI will hand over the operating solution to the client, or optionally remain engaged to provide further maintenance, technical and/or strategic support.

6: Life Cycle Management
NI will remain available for extended engagements to assist with life cycle management of the solution - through upgrades, feature releases, and product or technological advancement.
